Jakarta Provincial Government's official portal, namely jakarta.go.id received an award for 2014 Digital Marketing Award (DMA). This is the second time, jakarta.go.id get the same award this year. Besides presenting government information, the website is also considered as a great performing website for the best government website category.

This is not contested, but we just update it with the needs of the public

Head of Jakarta Communication, Informatics and Public Relation Department, Agus Bambang disclosed jakarta.go.id was made to be participated in the competition. If the website is useful and helpful for society, it will keep being developed.

"This is not contested, but we just update it with the needs of the public," he told, at City Hall, Thursday (11/13).

The award was received on Wednesday (11/12) night, at Mulia Hotel, Jakarta. Besides Jakarta, the award also presented to other cities, namely West Java, East Java, East Kalimantan and West Sumatra. They are respectively ranked second, third, fourth, and fifth.

Head of Public Relation Data and Information Division, Alberto Ali disclosed that his party keeps developing and updating the website contents. By so, people can access data faster.

"Every day, jakarta.go.id website is visited by 10-15 thousand people and 2-3 million people every year. The number has exceeded the target. Every year, the visitor can increase up to 50 percent than previous year. Thus far, its number is always more than 50 percent," he uttered.
